How to make rice cakes the easiest way

Many people like to eat rice cakes, because rice cakes are a kind of fermented food, which is very effective in regulating the stomach and intestines and has a good effect on nourishing the stomach. There are many ways to make rice cakes, and there are many varieties of rice to choose from, such as millet, rice, or glutinous rice, etc. The method of making rice cakes is also relatively simple, it tastes very good and has good nutritional effects.

Ingredients: 150g rice Seasoning: 3 spoons of Yuanzhen sugar, 1 spoon of yeast (dry)

1. Wash and soak the rice overnight, then blend it in a food processor into rice paste.

2. Take a large bowl and a small bowl and pour some rice milk into them.

3. Heat the rice paste in the large bowl in the microwave for about 30 seconds, then pour it together with the rice paste in the small bowl and mix.

4. After cooling, heat the sugar and yeast and mix well to carry out the first fermentation.

5.This is the fermented rice milk.

6. Pour into the remaining rice milk, stir evenly, and carry out the second fermentation.

7. Pour the fermented rice milk into the mold and steam it for 15 minutes.

8. Remove from the mold and place on a plate.

Method 2

1. Wash the red beans and soak them in boiling water. I start soaking them in the morning and continue until after lunch. It is easier to cook them after they have been soaked.

2. Put the soaked red beans into a pressure cooker, add appropriate amount of water, and I also put a little bit of powdered sugar. Cook for about 20 minutes, and the red beans will be cooked, but they are still basically granular.

3. Use a spoon to flatten the cooked red beans. I didn’t flatten them very much because I wanted them to taste better. I added powdered sugar when cooking, so the red bean paste is a little sweet. If it’s not sweet enough, you can add a little honey and stir evenly. However, the glutinous rice part will also be a little sweet, so it depends on your taste. The red bean part is now complete.

4. Put the glutinous rice flour in a bowl and slowly add coconut milk. The coconut milk I bought is not sweet, so I added a little powdered sugar. Stir in the same direction until the glutinous rice flour paste has no particles. This is also the reason for adding powdered sugar, which is easy to dissolve. The glutinous rice flour paste should be relatively thick. If it is too thin, it will be difficult to knead after steaming.

5. Find another plate, cover it with a layer of plastic wrap, pour the mixed glutinous rice flour paste into it, put it in after the water in the steamer boils, steam it over high heat for 5 minutes, then turn to low heat. I steamed it for about 25 minutes before the glutinous rice flour paste solidified.

6. After the glutinous rice flour is steamed, wait until it is completely cool before continuing. Because the glutinous rice skin is sticky, it is recommended to use disposable gloves. I directly put a plastic bag on my hands, knead it into a circle and flatten it, wrap it with red bean paste, knead it into a circle again, and then put it into the coconut flakes to stick it.

7. It was kneaded into a flat surface and many of them broke into pieces. After making a plate, the remaining pieces and the broken ones were directly cut into squares and strips. I won’t say any more, here are the pictures.
