How to make homemade eel rice

8. Then cover the pot and steam for about 18 minutes

9. While steaming rice, prepare the eel meat. Heat the pan, add a little oil, sauté ginger and garlic slices, and pour in the eel.

10. Stir-fry for a while, add a little pepper, half a tablespoon of rice wine, a tablespoon of soy sauce, a little salt and stir-fry until fragrant.

11. When the rice is 70% cooked

12. Add the sautéed eel and continue steaming for 10-15 minutes (the eel rice can also be covered with a bamboo lid or other sealed lid for better flavor). In the middle, you can add a tablespoon of light soy sauce and pour it on the edge of the rice for a nice color.

13. After the rice is steamed, sprinkle with chopped green onions and chili peppers and enjoy! (You can also add a few drops of sesame oil)
