How to make kelp buns

How to make kelp buns

Main ingredients: 500g flour, 750g kelp, 250g pork belly, 50g bran, 260g water. Accessories: 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, 4g salt, 2 teaspoons soy sauce, 1 teaspoon cooking wine, 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder, 1/2 scallion, a little MSG, 1 teaspoon instant dry yeast.

1. This is fresh kelp, very tender, relatively narrow; the color is brown

2. Put enough water in the pot, bring it to a boil and add the kelp

3. The kelp turns green after being heated, and the brown part on top has not yet been soaked in hot water.

4. Take it out after it changes color completely, rinse it with cold water and dry it.

5. Take out the cooled kelp and chop it into small pieces

6. Put it in a seasoning bowl and add soy sauce

7. Add salt and MSG

8. Add vegetable oil

9. Cut the pork belly into small pieces

10. Put it in the seasoning bowl, add ginger powder, cooking wine, soy sauce, chopped green onion, and mix well.

11. Add appropriate amount of salt to the meat filling and mix well

12. Place the seasoned minced meat and kelp on both sides of the seasoning bowl

13. Put a small amount of water in the basin, soak the yeast for a while, and put the flour bran into the basin.

14. Knead the dough into a moderate hardness and softness, try to add water, roll it into a bowl and ferment it

15. Pull open the dough and you will see honeycombs inside.

16. Take out the dough and put it on the chopping board, knead it into a smooth dough, and then roll it into a smooth long strip.

17. Cut into the size you like

18. Roll it into bun skin, thin on the sides and slightly thick in the middle

19. Add appropriate amount of kelp and pork belly on top

20. Place corn husks under the wrapped buns and place them in the steamer for final proofing; about 10 to 15 minutes

21. Put the pot in cold water, start with low heat, turn to medium heat after boiling, cook for 15 minutes, open the lid immediately after turning off the heat, and you can start eating
