How to make mutton and winter melon pot stickers

1. Grate the winter melon into shreds, add a little salt to remove moisture, squeeze dry and chop into pieces for later use.

2. Rinse the mutton, cut it into small pieces and chop it into minced meat.

3. Take a large bowl, add the minced meat, chopped green onion and ginger, and 1 egg white, and mix them in the same direction.

4. Add pepper water in batches and mix well.

5. Add winter melon filling, 2 spoons of salt and a little cooking oil, and stir in the same direction until it becomes firm.

6.Put some of the filling in the middle of the dumpling skin.

7. Pinch the upper and lower parts of the dough together to make a raw dumpling without sealing the mouth.

8. Heat a frying pan, apply a layer of oil on the bottom of the pan, place the pot stickers in, cover the pan and fry on low heat for 2-3 minutes.

9. When the dough is almost cooked and the bottom is slightly browned, pour in a little water starch.

10. Cover with lid and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.

11. Wait until the bottom of the pot stickers is browned and the water in the pot disappears.
