How to make puff pastry apple pie

The deterioration of living environment and the increase of study and work pressure are slowly eroding our health, so health preservation actions are urgent.

1.12121Pour in clean water and knead into dough. Do not pour all the water at once, but add it according to the hardness of the dough.

2.21212 Mix the flour, sugar and salt, soften 40g of butter at room temperature, and add it to the flour.

3. Knead into smooth dough. Wrap with cling film and refrigerate for 20 minutes

4. Cut 180g of butter into small pieces and put them into a fresh-keeping bag.

5.1 Take out the relaxed dough, apply a layer of anti-stick powder on the chopping board, put the dough on the chopping board, and roll it into a rectangle. The length is about three times the width of the butter slice and the width is slightly wider than the length of the butter slice.

6.2 Use a rolling pin to press the butter into a large, evenly thick slice. At this point the butter will soften slightly, place in the refrigerator until it hardens again (five minutes is enough). Start from the four corners and fill the four corners of the plastic, so that it will be a square

7. Take out the hardened butter slices from the refrigerator and remove the plastic bag.

8. Place the butter slice in the center of the rectangular dough

9. 70% off

10. Then take the direction with the longest side as the center point, fold it into four like a quilt, wrap it with plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for 20 minutes

11. Repeat the four folds twice, for a total of three rounds, refrigerating for 20 minutes each time

12. Roll out the dough into thin sheets and cut off the scraps

13. Dice the apples (I didn’t think this step through and it took me a long time to cook because I didn’t cut them finely enough)

14.Sugar, simmer over low heat

15. Cook until it becomes syrupy, stirring constantly

16. Pour in the diced apples and cook over medium heat until the flesh is soft.

17. Add lemon juice, starch water, cinnamon powder, rum and butter and mix well to brighten

18. Finally, I added condensed milk (optional)

19. Cut the puff pastry into slices, fold one slice in half and cut it horizontally, but do not cut it

20. Put the fruit filling on the dough and cover it with the dough with horizontal slices. It is done. Bake in oven at 180 degrees for half an hour

Maybe you have eaten many versions of puff pastry apple pie, but you definitely can’t imagine what it would taste like if you made it yourself? To satisfy your curiosity, you can really try it yourself.
