Traditional Slow Cooker Beef Stew Recipe

Friends are made through getting along with each other, and in the process of becoming friends, visiting each other’s homes is naturally inevitable. 1. Ingredients: • Beef shank • Potatoes • Carrots • Red onion • Freshly ground black pepper • Dry red wine • Bay leaves • Broth • Red pepper powder • Garlic • Sichuan peppercorns • Olive oil • Worcestershire sauce • Dark soy sauce • Salt • Sugar

2. Add olive oil to the pan and fry the peppercorns and garlic cloves until fragrant. Remove the peppercorns and set aside the garlic cloves.

3. Sauté the onion cubes until the edges turn caramelized.

4. Add beef cubes and stir-fry until slightly caramelized.

5. Then add dry red wine for deglazing, then add broth and various seasonings, and add 1/4 of carrots and potatoes. You can choose to slow-bake in the oven at 120 degrees or slow-cook on low heat on the stove until the meat is elastic and tender, about 2.5-3 hours.

6. When the meat is almost tender, open the lid and add the remaining vegetables, then simmer for about 30-40 minutes. (Control the time well, the potatoes and carrots will be soft and tender but not mushy to be delicious)

7. Finally, sprinkle some green onion, parsley or cilantro, depending on your preference. Enjoy!
