Pig's trotters are a kind of food that people often eat. The nutritional value of pig's trotters is very good. It is rich in collagen and has certain beauty-enhancing effects. For people with poor physical constitution, eating some of them properly can have a good effect of conditioning and nourishing the body. If you want to cook pig's trotters until they are tender and delicious, there are certain cooking skills. Let's learn about this below.

How to cook pig's trotters to make them tender and delicious

Stewing pig's trotters and pork elbows has always been my mother's specialty. Although the method of stewing pig's trotters by my mother is simple, the taste is really amazing. It is soft and tender, fat but not greasy, and can truly be said to melt in the mouth.

In order to stew fragrant and tender pig's trotters, it doesn't actually take a long time, but it does require a special step! Without further ado, let’s get started!

First rinse the pig's trotter (actually it's the trotter, the top part of the trotter, I'm used to calling it trotter here!), and cut a few cuts on it with a knife to make it easier for the seasoning to enter. Blanching in hot water is an essential step. After blanching, use a knife to scrape off the dirt and hair on the pig skin.

Add enough water to the pot, put in the pig's trotters and cooking wine, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for twenty minutes, remove from the pot and drain.

Next comes the most important special step, frying! Pour cooking oil into the pot, heat it up, then fry the pig's trotters. Make sure to turn them over so that both sides are heated evenly. Fry until the surface is golden brown and then you can remove from the pot.

After taking it out of the pot, put it back into the original soup pot, add beer, soy sauce, and sugar, continue to simmer on low heat, and it will be ready for about half an hour.

The pig's trotters are soft and tender after being taken out of the pot. They melt in your mouth, have an attractive aroma, are fat but not greasy, and are extremely delicious.

Eating pig's trotters can beautify your skin

Pig's trotters are rich in large-molecule collagen protein and are a cheap beauty food. Large molecule collagen protein has a special nutritional effect on the skin. It can promote skin cells to absorb and store water, prevent the skin from drying out and wrinkling, and make it plump, smooth and even. In addition, pig's trotters are also rich in elastin, which can increase the elasticity and toughness of the skin, promote blood circulation, provide adequate nutrition, lighten or eliminate wrinkles, and make the skin appear delicate, delicate, bright and white.

In addition, the pig trotter tendons in pig trotter meat are relatively tough, and it takes a lot of effort to chew them. In this way, the chewing muscles and facial muscles will be exercised in the process of eating pig trotter tendons, the muscle fibers will become thicker, the volume will increase, and the cheeks will appear fuller. Observations by some domestic and foreign beauty masters have shown that people who regularly eat pig's trotters can make their faces look even and plump, preventing the occurrence of a "monkey-pointed face" that is wide on top and narrow on the bottom. As middle-aged and elderly people age, their facial muscles and chewing muscles gradually atrophy. For example, chewing pig's trotters regularly is very helpful in maintaining a healthy and beautiful face.
