How to cook snake gourd and prawns

1. Remove the heads of the large prawns, cut off the shrimp whiskers, pick out the shrimp threads, wash and set aside; peel the snake gourd, remove the pulp, cut into shreds and set aside.

2. Add appropriate amount of chopped onion, ginger, garlic, salt, cornstarch and cooking wine to the large prawns, mix well and marinate for ten minutes.

3. Heat oil in a pan and pour in the marinated prawns.

4. Stir-fry over high heat until the shrimp changes color.

5. Add tomato sauce and adjust the color.

6. Add oyster sauce to enhance the flavor.

7. Add appropriate amount of hot water and salt to season, cover the pot and cook on medium-low heat for six minutes.

8. Pour out the cooked shrimps and set aside.

9. Heat another pan with oil, pour in the shredded snake gourd and stir-fry over high heat until soft.

10. Pour in the cooked shrimp and sauce.

11. Stir-fry evenly over high heat, add a little chicken essence, let the flavor absorb and the sauce thicken, then serve.
