1. Frozen beef makes delicious braised beef.

2. The ingredients you need to prepare are: 300 grams of beef, 4 slices of ginger, 30 peppercorns, 2 aniseed, 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 3 dried chilies, 4 bay leaves, 1 piece of cinnamon, 1/2 scallion, 4 cloves of garlic, 2 teaspoons of vinegar, 2 teaspoons of braised sauce, 1/2 teaspoon of MSG, and 5 grams of hawthorn. (The stewing time is about 25-30 minutes depending on personal preference of softness.)

3. The specific steps are as follows:

(1) Thaw the beef and clean it.

(2) Then cut the beef into cubes according to your preference.

(3) Place the beef in a pot and add enough water.

(4) Add ginger slices, peppercorns and star anise.

(5) Then turn on the heat and bring to a boil.

(6) After boiling, take the beef out of the pot, rinse it with warm water and put it in a container.

(7) Pour oil into a pan, add peppercorns, star anise, dried chilies, bay leaves, and cinnamon, and fry until fragrant.

(8) Then put the beef I just stored into the pot, stir-fry repeatedly and add onions, ginger and garlic.

(9) After frying for a while, I pour in vinegar and braised sauce to add flavor.

(10) Transfer the beef to a cast iron pot, add water to cover the beef, then add the hawthorns, cover and simmer for about half an hour.

(11) After half an hour, add appropriate amount of salt and continue to simmer for about another hour until the beef is soft. Turn off the heat and add MSG.

(12) Then it is ready to be served.
