How to make glutinous and fragrant chicken wings

4. Start steaming the glutinous rice when processing the chicken wings (soak it for about 12 hours in advance), mix it with vegetable oil, and steam it in a steamer for 30 minutes. Remember not to drain water

5. Dice the ham. I used Yurunyuan ham (supermarket promotion haha)

6.Mix glutinous rice, diced ham and cooked sesame seeds and set aside

7. After the chicken wings are marinated for 1 hour, fill them with the mixed glutinous rice filling and then seal the two ends with bamboo sticks.

8. Place the stuffed chicken wings on a plate, pour the remaining soup on them (the soup on the surface is the remaining glutinous rice, don’t waste it), put them in a steamer and steam for about 20 minutes, until the chicken wings are 80% cooked.

9. These are steamed chicken wings. During the steaming process, the fat from the chicken wings is absorbed by the glutinous rice in the wings, making them plump and round.

10. Remove the bamboo sticks and place them in the baking pan (it is best to use a baking net, but I don’t have one, so I just put a piece of tin foil underneath, and the effect is still good.)

11. Before putting it into the oven, you can brush it with various sauces according to your personal taste. I prepared a Korean hot sauce and a barbecue honey.

12. In order to save energy for the country, a plate of cookies was added to the oven. Haha

13. Bake at 190 degrees for 10 minutes. The cookies are ready. Take out the chicken wings, brush them with a layer of hot sauce, and then put them back into the oven to continue baking. Repeat this process 3 times or more to get better flavor and color.
