Tomato fruit recipe

Tomato fruit recipe

Every time you visit friends or colleagues’ homes, you’ll find that they all have one or two specialties. But every time it was my turn, I was always short of money. You look particularly embarrassed like this, don't you? So, for the sake of your dignity, come and learn from me how to make tomato fruit now.

1. Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half from the middle, squeeze out the tomato seeds and juice, leaving the pulp

2.1 Add a tablespoon of tomato sauce to the filtered tomato juice and boil

3.2 Use a juicer to break up the pulp a little (do not add water). If it is difficult to break, you can chop it with a knife. Strain the tomato juice through a strainer

4.12 After the tomato juice is boiled, immediately pour it into the glutinous rice flour and starch to make dough. Do not pour it all at once. Pay attention to the moisture of the dough and make it into a soft dough. If you feel that the color is not dark enough, you can add more tomato sauce. The color of the dough does not need to be too red, because the color will be much darker after steaming.

5.21 Take another 20g of glutinous rice flour and 10g of corn flour, mix them with boiling water to make a soft dough, add a little matcha powder and knead it into a light green dough

6. Take a piece of red dough and wrap it with red bean paste

7. Roll the dough into balls and press lightly with your fingers to make it look like a tomato.

8.1 Use your hands to gently press the florets to make them bigger, and use a toothpick to trim the shape. The pedicels of tomatoes are a bit pointed.

9.2 Press the green dough into a slightly thick pancake and use a small flower mold to press out small flowers. If you don’t have a mold, you can use a pen cap or something like that to press out small circles.

10. Apply a little water to stick the leaves on the top of the meatballs, and use chopsticks to gently press out grooves.

11. Use a toothpick to press a line in the middle of each leaf

12. Place a small tomato sphere in the center of the leaf as the stalk, and place the tomato spheres on a plate covered with plastic wrap.

13. After the water boils, add the glutinous rice balls and steam over high heat for 8-10 minutes

14. Apply a thin layer of oil after taking it out of the pan to prevent the surface from drying out

Growing tomatoes is no pressure for our parents, but for young people who have to eat and have their food taken care of, can you really do it on your own? Please believe in yourself, with the perfect cooking method, you can definitely do it perfectly.
