How to make dragon fruit juice rose buns

The method of making dragon juice rose buns is relatively simple. Even if you don’t cook often, you can master it through simple learning.

1. Use a blender to blend the red dragon fruit into 250ml juice for later use

2. Put the flour, yeast, salt, sugar and dragon fruit juice into the food processor and knead into a smooth dough

3. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it ferment until it doubles in size.

4. Divide the fermented dough into small pieces and roll them into round pieces the size of dumpling skins.

5. Stack the round pieces together and use chopsticks to press a dividing line in the middle, then roll them up from bottom to top.

6. After rolling, cut it in the middle and it will become two rose buns.

7. Put the pot in cold water, steam it over high heat for ten minutes, turn off the heat and simmer for 3 minutes before serving.

8. The steamed buns will turn pink.

9. Steamed buns with yam milk, apples and peaches are a good breakfast combination.
