How to make coal cake

The busy life makes many people be careless in diet, and they deal with their three meals a day casually. Little do they know that this can easily lead to a sub-healthy state of the body. In fact, the preparation of coal cake is simple and delicious. It is a recommended home-cooked dish that you may as well eat often.

1. Prepare the materials by weighing them with an electronic scale

2. Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Note that the dish containing the egg whites must be free of water and oil.

3. Pour 1/3 of the milk, corn oil and sugar into the egg yolk dish.

4. Beat quickly with a manual egg beater until the egg yolk liquid is emulsified and large bubbles appear.

5. Sift the low flour and charcoal powder together into the egg yolk liquid

6. Use a spatula to stir until there is no dry powder.

7. Baking preparation: Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. I use baking paper to surround the edge of the six-inch mold to prevent sticking.

8. Beat the egg whites. I use a 6-speed electric egg beater in a chef machine. Beat at high speed.

9. Beat until the egg whites start to foam and you can add half of the sugar.

10. Beat for two minutes until small bubbles appear, add the remaining sugar and continue beating

11. Beat the egg whites as shown in the picture until the egg white corners do not sag when you lift the egg beater.

12. First, scoop out 1/3 of the egg white and egg yolk paste and stir them using a folding method (i.e. use a spatula to fold from the bottom to the top in one direction).

13. Pour the egg yolk paste back into the egg white plate and mix evenly using the same method.

14. As shown in the picture, the cake batter can drip down for a distance with lines. Stir evenly.

15. Pour the cake batter into a six-inch mold and pat it with both hands to shake out the air.

16. Bake in a preheated oven at 175 degrees for 25 minutes. Put it upside down and let it cool immediately.

18. Use a cake cutter to trim to the desired size

19. Use a large straw to insert the hole into the coal ball as shown in the picture.

21. I sprinkled some cocoa powder to make it more realistic

22. Cut it open and it looks like the inside too.
