How to make Japanese Momoyama mooncakes

1. Prepare the tools and materials for making mooncakes, including milk-flavored peach skin (you can buy ready-made ones on Taobao), red bean paste and molds, scales, and disposable plastic gloves.

2. Weigh 60 grams of red bean paste, put it in a fresh-keeping bag to prevent it from sticking to your hands, and roll it into a round shape

3. Wear disposable plastic gloves and measure 40 grams of peach bark

4. Use a rolling pin to roll the peach skin into a round shape.

5. Put the red bean paste on the peach skin

6. Slowly rotate the mouth of your right hand and press the filling with your left thumb until it is sealed.

7. After sealing, it becomes a circle

8. Put it into a 100g mooncake mold and press out the pattern

9. Place one directly on a baking tray covered with tin foil, and repeat the above steps until six 100g mooncakes are ready.

10. Brush some water on the mooncakes with a brush

11. Preheat the small oven to 170 degrees for 5-10 minutes, put the mooncakes in the oven and bake at 170 degrees for 20 minutes. When the mooncake skin is a little hard, it can be taken out of the oven.
