Pumpkin puree rice cooker cake recipe

Who doesn't want to live a healthy life? In fact, the occurrence of diseases is often avoidable. 1. Prepare the ingredients. I didn’t take a photo of the pumpkin puree method, but it’s quite simple. Just slice the pumpkin, steam it, and press it into puree.

2. Use two clean, oil-free and water-free plates to separate the free-range eggs and beat the egg yolks thoroughly.

3. I usually beat the egg whites first. Add a few drops of lemon juice and use an electric whisk to beat the egg whites at low speed to form large bubbles. Then add one third of the white sugar and increase the speed to continue beating. After seeing the shape of the cake, add another one third of the white sugar and continue beating at high speed.

4. When you see the egg beater is lifted up with the hook, the whole plate of egg whites can be turned upside down. Put the beaten egg whites in the refrigerator for later use.

5. Pour the peanut oil, pumpkin puree and the remaining 1/3 of the white sugar into the egg yolk pan and beat the egg yolks. Since you are using an electric whisk, just beat evenly.

6. Sift in cake flour and mix well.

7. First, mix the beaten 1/3 egg white into the egg yolk paste from bottom to top as you would when cooking. Do not stir in circles as this will cause bubbles to form. Just mix gently and evenly.

8. Preheat the rice cooker, pour the prepared cake batter into the rice cooker, and vibrate it a few times to eliminate bubbles.

9. I like to add some sesame seeds on the batter to make it look better.

10. My rice cooker has a cake function. After selecting the cake function and pressing it, it takes 43 minutes.

11. When the switch of the rice cooker jumps, I usually wait for a few minutes, then take it out, vibrate it a few times and then turn it upside down. This makes it easier to demould. After it cools down naturally, you can see that the cake is separated from the rice cooker!

12. This pumpkin puree cake rises beautifully and is 9 cm tall.

13. The fragrant and delicious pumpkin puree cake is ready.
