Caramel graham crackers recipe

Caramel whole wheat biscuits are quick and easy to make. They can be cooked in just over ten minutes. They only need to be steamed and there is no need to worry about the harm of oil fumes.

1. Mix whole wheat flour, low-gluten flour and baking soda evenly and set aside;

2. Put a tablespoon of water in a milk pot, add sugar, and heat over low heat;

3. Slowly, rich bubbles will appear;

4. Continue to simmer over low heat until it turns amber;

5. Turn off the heat and pour in 25g of hot water at the same time. Shake the pot to mix the hot water and the boiled caramel evenly and let it cool.

6. Add vegetable oil and salt and mix well;

7. Pour in the mixed flour and stir with a spatula to form a uniform dough;

8. Arrange it into large square slices with a thickness of about 3-4 mm on the silicone chopping board, cut it into triangles or your favorite shapes, and place it on the baking tray;

9. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, heat the upper and lower tubes, bake on the middle layer for about 13 minutes, and remove from the oven when the surface of the biscuits turns burnt red;

10. Put it on the grill to dissipate heat, and it will become crispy when it cools down completely. I like the caramel flavor, crispy and fragrant, sweet but not greasy. Do you like it?
