From the perspective of food safety, instant noodles with a reputable brand name are safer than meals sold at various stalls or take-out lunch boxes. The "junk food" label that was previously attached to instant noodles was not only not supported by evidence, but was instead an unscientific rumor.

Although instant noodles have the advantage of balanced macronutrients and are suitable as a source of energy for regular meals and as a convenient meal in emergencies, experts also remind that while enjoying the convenience brought by instant noodles, consumers should pair them with vegetables and fruits in a timely manner to supplement the needs of other macro- and micronutrients, and drink plenty of water to make the dietary structure more reasonable and healthy.
