1. Prepare all the materials. Use a kitchen scale to accurately measure the grams. I can make about 30 cookies with this.

2. The butter can soften naturally, but I was in a hurry so I put it in the oven for a minute.

3. Then prepare a large bowl without water or oil, put the softened butter in and mash it with a spatula.

4. Then add powdered sugar, sift it and continue to mash and stir with a spatula.

5. Add 15ml of whole egg liquid into the bowl. Continue stirring.

6. Add dried cranberries. Stir again, making sure to mix evenly.

7. Stir until it looks like this.

8. Finally, add the sifted flour.

9. Knead the dough with your hands. Remember not to knead it too hard or for too long, as this will easily cause the flour to become gluten-forming. Just knead all the dough into one color.

10. Use a mold to shape it, or you can shape it directly by hand.

11. Then put it in the refrigerator and freeze it for an hour, then cut it into even-sized slices. But not too thin. It is best to have a consistent thickness, otherwise the color will be uneven during baking. My recipe makes about 30 slices. While slicing, you can preheat the oven at the same time. My oven temperature is a bit high, so I adjusted the temperature to 140 degrees and preheated it for 5 minutes. It is best for everyone to adjust the temperature according to their own oven. If the temperature is high, you can adjust it the same as I did. If it is a bit low, you can adjust the temperature to around 170.

12. Observe the heat at all times. If the color is golden yellow, with a strong milky aroma, and the sugar embryo has expanded, you can turn off the heat and then simmer in the oven for 5 minutes to allow it to be evenly colored. My oven temperature is high, and I set the upper and lower fire to 140 degrees for 15 minutes. It is best to experiment with the temperature of your own oven. It is recommended not to set the temperature too high for the first time, and experiment slowly to draw conclusions. (Keep the biscuits and sugar embryos farther apart, and don’t put too much at once, as they will stick together after expanding and affect the appearance)

13. The baked cookies are evenly colored, crispy and delicious, and look very attractive, right?
