Ingredients: 500g silkworm pupae, salt, onion, garlic, pepper, aniseed, cooking wine, spicy and fresh

1. Wash the silkworm pupae in clean water.

2. Pour an appropriate amount of water into the pot, then add onion, ginger and garlic.

3. Add a large piece of star anise and pour in an appropriate amount of cooking wine.

4. Pour in a small spoonful of salt.

5. Cover the pot and cook on low heat. Cook for 10 minutes after boiling, and simmer for another 10 minutes.

6. Add a drop of sesame oil and serve.

Precautions for eating silkworm pupae

1. Silkworm pupae cannot be eaten without being processed, and must not be eaten directly by mixing them with cold dishes or pickling them in salt.

2. Silkworm pupae that are not fresh, have changed color to black, are pink, or have a numbing or spicy taste are not edible.

3. Silkworm pupae have a strange smell and a foul odor and are inedible.

4. Silkworm pupae are inedible if they are left for too long, more than one week in cold weather or more than 20 hours in hot weather.

5. People with a history of food allergies such as fish and shrimp should not eat it.
