How to make shrimp wontons (shrimp, pork, corn, carrots)

Busy life makes many people careless about their diet, and they deal with their three meals a day casually. Little do they know that this can easily lead to a sub-healthy state of the body. In fact, the preparation of fresh shrimp wontons (fresh shrimp, pork, corn kernels, carrots) is simple and delicious. It is a recommended home-cooked dish that you may wish to eat often.

1. Knead the dough and let it rest

2. Wash the shrimps, remove the heads and peel them into shrimp meat. Pick out the shrimp glands with a toothpick, wash them again, drain the water and place them on a chopping board, chop them and put them in a bowl.

3. Chop the peeled shrimps into small pieces to make fillings.

4. Wash the pork and carrots and chop them into stuffing. Then blanch the corn kernels in boiling water.

5. Put these fillings together, add appropriate amount of salt, a small spoonful of soy sauce, sesame oil and chopped green onions and mix well.

6. Roll the dough into a thin sheet, then cut it into squares. Put the meat filling in one square, fold it in half, and pinch the two bottom corners together to make the wonton.

7. I made my own wonton wrappers. I first rolled the dough and then cut it into squares.

8. I wrap a part first, cook some for the children, and then wrap more.

9. Make dumplings again.

10. First add appropriate amount of water into the soup pot and bring it to a boil over high heat. Put the dumplings in and cook them first, then add the wontons. Boil the pot three times and add cold water three times, and the dumplings and wontons are cooked.

11. It’s out of the pot, time to eat wontons and dumplings!
