How to make sunflower buns

After a busy day of work and study, it is really tiring to prepare dinner with an hungry body. The method of making sunflower buns is simple and easy. All you need is a wok. There is no need to fry, deep-fry or stew them. You can enjoy the delicious taste by serving them with clear soup.

1. Dissolve 100g of yeast in warm water, mix with 200g of flour and 20g of powdered sugar to make a smooth white dough, cover with plastic wrap and ferment at room temperature.

2. Dissolve 100g of yeast in warm water, mix with 170g of flour, 30g of purple potato flour and 20g of powdered sugar to make a smooth purple dough, and cover with plastic wrap for fermentation.

3. Dissolve 10 grams of yeast in warm water, mix with 200 grams of flour, 100 grams of spinach juice, and 20 grams of powdered sugar to make a smooth green dough, and cover with plastic wrap to ferment.

4. When the dough is fermented to 2-2.5 times its original size and a honeycomb appears inside, the fermentation is successful (the fermentation time is about 1.5-2 hours in summer and longer in winter). Then, remove the air from the fermented three-color dough one by one.

5. Take small pieces of different sizes from each of the three doughs, roll them into balls, and arrange them in the order of large, medium, and small (here the white piece is the largest, the purple piece is medium, and the green piece is the smallest)

6. Roll the white and purple dough into round dough pieces. The white dough piece is the largest, so the round dough piece should be bigger.

7. Place the smallest green dough on the purple dough and wrap it up like a dumpling.

8. Wrap it a little tighter, close the opening, and place it in the middle of the white dough.

9. Continue to wrap it like a bun, wrap it tightly and close the opening.

10. Turn the seam downward and flatten it with your hands.

11. Use a knife to cut it into four equal parts, being careful not to cut in the middle.

12. Cut one of them into three small parts

13. Twist the small part from the bottom to reveal the beautiful color.

14. Follow the same method to make the remaining equal parts (all the small equal parts should be twisted in one direction, so that the petals will be more beautiful)

15. Press the 12 small equal parts that are higher than the center flat to form 12 beautiful petals, and then put a small white round piece with black sesame seeds on it as the center of the flower.

16. According to your mood, you can freely match the order of dough colors. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes

17. Steam the dish over high heat with cold water. After the water boils, turn to medium heat and steam for about 8 minutes. Turn off the heat and simmer for about 3 minutes before serving.
