How to make pork, zucchini and chive dumplings

High work pressure is a problem that many people have to deal with nowadays. After a day, the whole person is basically very tired. It is not realistic to spend time preparing a sumptuous dinner. At this time, you might as well consider some simple dishes. For example, pork, zucchini and leek dumplings are simple to make, which can meet health needs and does not take too much time.

1. Grate the zucchini with skin on into shreds, marinate with salt for 15 minutes, squeeze out the brine (keep the squeezed out vegetable water for kneading the dough), and chop a few times on a cutting board for later use.

2. Wash, drain and dry the chives in advance. Rub the knife and chop into small pieces, mix well with cooking oil and set aside.

3. Add the squeezed zucchini brine and appropriate amount of cold water to the flour to make a semi-soft dough. Cover the dough with a wet cloth and let it rest for later use.

4. Add minced ginger, cooking wine, light soy sauce, five-spice powder and cooking oil to the pork filling and stir evenly in one direction.

5. Add shredded zucchini, salt, and chopped green onion in turn, mix well, and finally add chopped chives. The filling is ready.

6. Knead the dough vigorously again, divide it into several portions, take one portion and cut it into small pieces, flatten them into round pieces that are thick in the middle and thin around the edges.

7. Wrap the prepared meat filling in the dough and make dumplings according to your favorite style. Until the dough and filling are ready.

8. Bring the water to a boil over high heat. Add 30 to 40 dumplings. Use a spoon to gently push the bottom of the pot to prevent the dumplings from sticking. Cover the pot and cook until boiling. Gently push the bottom of the pot again. Add a small bowl of cold water and cover the pot again. After the dumpling water boils twice, you can use a colander to scoop out the dumplings and serve on a plate.

9. Mix the seasoning in a bowl and dip the dumplings in it. It is delicious.

Remember to control the heat when making pork, zucchini and leek dumplings, otherwise they will easily stick to the pan and affect the color of the food, thus affecting everyone's appetite. Just add some chili and sour vinegar according to your personal taste.
