Medicinal Diet Recipes

Medicinal Diet Recipes

There are many traditional Chinese foods. Some people choose medicated diet for the sake of their health. Medicinal diet recipes are mainly made by combining some Chinese medicinal materials with foods with relatively high nutritional value. For example, goose meat and duck meat, together with star anise, wolfberry, angelica, etc., can be stewed into soup or cooked, which has a certain effect on toning the body. Especially for the elderly with joint pain, eating more medicated food is very valuable, which can strengthen the body, replenish qi and nourish blood.

Medicinal diet originated from my country's traditional diet and Chinese medicine diet therapy culture. Medicinal diet is a delicious food with a certain color, aroma, taste and shape that is made under the guidance of traditional Chinese medicine, culinary science and nutrition theory, strictly according to medicinal diet recipes, by matching Chinese medicine with certain foods with medicinal value, using my country's unique diet cooking technology and modern scientific methods. (In short, medicated food is a delicacy made by combining medicinal materials and food ingredients.) It is the product of the combination of traditional Chinese medical knowledge and cooking experience. It "combines medicine with food", using medicine as food and giving food medicinal properties. Medicine borrows the power of food, and food helps the power of medicine. The two complement each other and bring out the best in each other. It not only has high nutritional value, but can also prevent and cure diseases, maintain health, and prolong life.

Take a female black-bone chicken, clean it, blanch it in boiling water, then take it out and put it into the stew pot.

Wash 50 grams of ginseng, 20 grams of angelica, 50 grams of astragalus, 30 grams of codonopsis, 20 grams of lotus seeds, 50 grams of yam, 30 grams of lily, 50 grams of coix seed, 30 grams of red dates, and 10 grams of wolfberry.

Put the chicken that has been boiled in water into a stew pot, add water that almost fills the pot, bring to a boil over high heat, then add angelica sinensis, astragalus, codonopsis pilosula, and lotus seeds. After boiling, skim off the foam, cover and simmer on low heat for half an hour.

Add yam, lily and coix seed, cover and continue cooking.

After boiling for a total of one and a half hours, add appropriate amount of salt, then add red dates and wolfberries, cover and boil for another half an hour.

When it is soft, pour it into a soup bowl. If it's chicken, it will be soft after two hours of cooking. However, it is best to use old hens for making soup.
