How to make rose buns

The nutritional value of rose steamed buns is very high. As winter approaches quietly, preparing such a dish on the winter dinner table is very appetizing and can stimulate your appetite. Rose steamed buns are also a good healthy and whitening dish that can promote fat metabolism. It has become a favorite dish of female friends. Friends who like spicy food can add more chili for seasoning.

1. Prepare a small bowl for kneading dough and a kitchen electronic scale. Everything is weighed very accurately. Just make it according to the weight of the main ingredients I wrote.

2. Put all the powdered materials into a large bowl, add sugar and salt, and mix well.

3. Then pour in an appropriate amount of warm water, and knead it into dough by hand while adding water.

4. Finally, knead the dough. It doesn’t need to be kneaded very smooth. You can knead it very smooth after it has risen. Then place in a warm place to rise for about half an hour.

5. After about thirty minutes, the dough will ferment into the shape of a honeycomb as shown in the picture. If the honeycomb shape is larger, it means it is overcooked.

6. Then knead the fermented dough again to release the gas. Roll it into long strips and pinch it into small pieces the same size as dumplings. Press and flatten the skin.

7. The rolled skin is oval in shape. Look at the picture, there are five of them in a group, arranged in a row.

8. Then take a pair of chopsticks, preferably disposable ones. I used ordinary chopsticks at home, not too thick. Press a line in the middle.

9. Then use your finger to press the chopstick mark and start rolling up from bottom to top.

10. Roll it up and it will look like the picture. 5 pieces of dough can make two flowers.

11. Then use a knife to cut it in half in the middle to make two roses.

12. Finally, do all of this and make a bunch of roses as shown in the picture. Let it rise for ten minutes, then steam it in cold water.

13. Steam in cold water for 25 minutes. Simmer for two minutes after steaming. The picture below shows the raw and cooked roses. Look forward to the next recipe!
