There are many ways to prepare shrimp in our lives, including steaming, braising, and stir-frying, all of which can produce delicious food. The best way to cook shrimps is to steam them, because steaming them can preserve the flavor of the fresh shrimps very well, and the preparation method of steamed shrimps is relatively simple. We just need to remove the black substance on the shrimp head and the shrimp whiskers, and then steam the fresh shrimps in water.

1. Steam. It’s very simple. Just wash the shrimps and steam them in a pot until they turn red. In one word: fresh.

2. Stir-fry. After the pan is dry, pour in a little peanut oil. After the oil is boiling, pour in the shrimps and stir-fry until the shrimps turn red. In one word: delicious.

3. Egg paste. Wash two shrimps, peel them, and chop them together with vegetables. You can choose vegetables such as (cucumber, spinach). Mix them with eggs, add a little water and salt, and steam them in a pot. Babies like to eat it very much.

4. Shredded radish stewed with shrimp: A famous dish in Qingdao. The method is simple. Put the shredded radish and shrimp in a pot and stew them. Add water and a little salt. You can control the time yourself.

5. Cabbage stewed with shrimp: stew the cabbage leaves and shrimp together for a longer time.

6. Winter melon stewed with shrimp: Stew the winter melon and shrimp together.

After the sea opens, you can often see small prawns for 15 yuan per 2 jin. You can buy a lot of shrimps for 30 yuan and put them in the refrigerator for later use.

7. Stir-fried cucumber with shrimp: Dice the cucumber and stir-fry with shrimp.

8. Microwave-baked shrimps: I personally think it doesn’t taste good. The shrimps are just dried in a microwave oven.

9. Boiled medium shrimps - Use a toothpick to remove the intestines of the medium shrimps, rinse and set aside; add ginger slices/scallions/cooking wine to half a pot of water and bring to a boil, put in the shrimps and blanch for 90 seconds, remove from the pot and soak in ice water, remove from the pot and drain.

10. Wine-flavored hard-shell shrimps - Put a cup of Shaoxing wine, a cup of water, a little salt/MSG, and ginger/garlic slices in a soup bowl; blanch the hard-shell shrimps in a similar way to blanching Chinese shrimps, pick them out, soak them in ice water, put them in the wine soup, and soak them in the refrigerator overnight.

11. Prawn salad with crab roe sauce - Remove the head/shell of the prawns, cut them into two pieces, remove the intestines, blanch them for two minutes in the same way as blanched shrimps, remove them from the salad and soak them in ice water, then wipe them dry; add a tablespoon of crab roe to the salad sauce and mix well, then place the shrimp meat on top.

Spicy Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients: Live shrimp (about 1 jin 2 liang)

Ingredients: potatoes, bamboo shoots, celery, green onions

Seasoning: crab sauce, crab oil, MSG, chicken essence, sugar, and dried chili.

Production process:

Step 1: Peel and cut the potatoes into pieces, cut the winter bamboo shoots into pieces, cut the celery into strips, and cut the green onions into sections, a little of each and set aside.

Step 2: Clean the live shrimps and make a cut on the back of each shrimp to make it easier to season them.

Step 3: Set up a wok, add appropriate amount of crab oil, then add a little dried chili segments, stir-fry twice, put the shrimp and potato cubes, winter bamboo shoots, celery sticks, and green onion segments into the wok, stir-fry back and forth.

Step 4: After frying for several times, when the ingredients are almost cooked, add crab sauce, then a little MSG, chicken essence and sugar, and continue to stir-fry.

Step 5: Fry until the shrimp curls up and turns orange-red, which means the shrimp is cooked and can be removed from the pan.

Taste of the dish: This dish has a strong sauce flavor, is fresh and slightly spicy, and the shrimp meat is soft and tender and delicious.

Characteristics of the dish: This dish is an authentic Sichuan cuisine. Prawns are high in protein, which can meet the needs of the human body. They also contain a large amount of calcium, which can supplement the calcium needed by the human body. Eating them in autumn and winter can enhance the ability to resist cold.

Note: First of all, the crab sauce cannot be fried to a crisp, and the crab sauce is a secret recipe of the store, so if you want to make it yourself, you can use a mixture of sweet noodle sauce and seafood sauce instead, and try to make a spicy shrimp dish!
