How to make glutinous rice assorted Yuanzi

1. Prepare the ingredients shown in the picture. Soak glutinous rice for 3 to 5 hours in advance, then wash and drain, wash ginger, onion, carrot, corn, minced meat and eggs.

2. Chop carrots into small pieces, chop ginger into small pieces, and chop green onions (cut the green onion whites and green onions separately).

3. Crack the egg into a bowl with the minced meat, add ginger and scallion (keep the scallion leaves for later use).

4. Mix thoroughly.

5. Take a larger container and pour in the minced meat, carrots, corn kernels, salt, cooking wine, pepper, sesame oil, and corn starch.

6. Stir well.

7. Add three tablespoons of water in three times.

8. Stir in one direction until vigorous.

9. Place gauze on the steaming rack (wet it with water, wring it out and then place it on the rack).

10. Use your hands to shape the filling into dumplings, put them in the glutinous rice and evenly coat them with the glutinous rice.

11. Leave some space between them and let it sit for ten minutes.

12. Steam in a steamer over medium-high heat for 20 minutes.

13. Let it cool for one minute after steaming (so that it will not stick when taken out).

14. Arrange the dumplings on a plate and garnish with green onion leaves.

The method of making glutinous rice assorted dumplings is simple, and the key lies in the preparation of the sauce. If you like sweet and sour taste, you can add some tomato or apple cider vinegar and pour it on the dish, and the dish will immediately become a meal.
