How to make delicious grass carp tofu and what nutrients does it have

1. How to make homemade grass carp tofu

Ingredients preparation

A grass carp, a piece of tofu, onion, ginger, celery, lard, green pepper, cooking oil, salt and pepper in appropriate amounts.

Method steps

1. After cleaning the fish, dry the surface moisture, cut it into pieces, apply salt and marinate for a while;

2. Dice tofu, cut green pepper into rings, and slice green onion and ginger;

3. Heat oil in a wok, add the fish, fry both sides until golden brown, then add ginger and green onions;

4. After frying for a while, add an appropriate amount of boiling water, put the tofu in it, and add a spoonful of lard;

5. Cover the pot and cook for 15 minutes, then add celery and cook for another 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

6. Add the green pepper rings and simmer for one minute before serving.

2. How to make star anise grass carp tofu

Ingredients preparation

500g grass carp, tofu, onion, ginger, sugar, chili, salt, star anise, chicken essence, dark soy sauce.

Method steps

1. Wash the grass carp, scrape the scales, cut open the belly and remove the gills. Heat the pan, add oil, put the fish in and fry both sides.

2. Add tofu, fry for a while, pour in an appropriate amount of water, and add a little dark soy sauce;

3. Then add salt, star anise and scallion, sugar, chili pepper, and Huadiao wine;

4. Stew until the soup is almost dry, add a little chicken essence and sesame oil for seasoning.

Grass carp tofu is rich in unsaturated fatty acids and selenium. Unsaturated fatty acids are beneficial to blood circulation and can prevent cardiovascular diseases; selenium has the effect of delaying aging, beautifying the skin, and also helps prevent cancer.
