The second way to eat it: stew.

Cut the fresh ginseng into thin slices about 2CM thick, put them directly into a ceramic bowl, fill it with water, and seal the bowl mouth as best. Place it in a stew pot and steam it for 4 to 5 hours, then drink the water and eat the ginseng.

The third way to eat it: stew chicken soup.

Cut the fresh ginseng into thin slices and set aside for later use. Remove the feathers and internal organs of the chicken, clean it, and put it in a stew pot. Then add 2-3 slices of fresh ginseng slices and simmer it with seasonings for about 3 hours over low heat. Remember to eat the ginseng slices while drinking the soup and eating the meat.

The fourth way to eat it: soak it in wine.

The wine made from fresh ginseng has more benefits. The method is very simple. You only need to wash a whole fresh ginseng, dry it and place it in a clean container. Add 500g of liquor with a purity of about 50-60. Soak it for about half a month and then you can drink it. Don't drink too much each time.

Precautions

1. Although ginseng is a qi-replenishing medicine, it is inappropriate to take it casually if you do not have symptoms of qi deficiency. People who are physically strong and not weak do not need to take tonic medicine.

2. Avoid eating radish (including red radish, white radish and green radish) and various seafood after taking ginseng.

3. Avoid drinking tea. After taking ginseng, you should not drink tea to avoid damaging the effects of ginseng.

4. Whether frying or stewing, avoid using hardware cooking utensils.

5. Ginseng should not be eaten with grapes as its nutrition will be damaged. Grapes contain tannic acid, which can easily combine with the protein in ginseng to form precipitation, affecting absorption and reducing efficacy.

The efficacy and function of ginseng

Ginseng tastes sweet and slightly bitter, and is slightly warm in nature. It enters the spleen, lung, heart, and kidney meridians. It has a strong and moistening effect, and it rises more than it descends. It has the effects of replenishing qi and strengthening the body, strengthening the spleen and lungs, calming the mind and improving intelligence, and nourishing blood and producing body fluids.

Ginseng is mainly used to treat serious illness, long-term illness, blood loss, dehydration caused by loss of vital energy, fatigue, weak pulse; spleen deficiency with loss of appetite, fatigue, vomiting and diarrhea; lung deficiency with shortness of breath, rapid breathing, and weak cough; heart deficiency with insomnia, dreaminess, palpitations, forgetfulness, physical weakness and sweating; thirst and polydipsia due to lack of body fluid; sallow complexion and dizziness due to blood deficiency; kidney deficiency with impotence, frequent urination, and exogenous infection due to qi deficiency.

It accelerates lipid metabolism and has a significant effect in lowering high cholesterol. Small doses of ginseng can slightly increase the blood pressure of anesthetized animals, while large doses can lower blood pressure. Different ginseng preparations can enhance the function of isolated toad hearts and in vivo rabbit, cat and dog hearts, and can improve myocardial weakness during ventricular fibrillation.
