How to cook braised sardines

Perhaps, the dishes in these restaurants taste a lot of "flavor", but most of it is due to the seasoning. You can do better at home if you want. Well, now let me introduce to you the method of braised sardines.

1. Ingredients: Sardines, onion, ginger, garlic, chili, soy sauce, cooking wine, sugar, tomato sauce, coriander, star anise, and peppercorns

2.1 Wash and cut the onion into sections, wash and peel the ginger and garlic and slice them

3.2 Clean the sardines, remove the scales and internal organs, and marinate with a little salt to remove moisture

4.12 Wash and chop the coriander, soak the chili in water and cut into sections

5.21 Hot pan with cold oil and sardines

6. Fry until both sides turn hard and golden brown, then set the fish aside

7. Add onion, garlic, ginger, pepper, star anise, chili, salt, stir-fry until fragrant, then mix the fish with the fragrant seasonings.

8. Spray the fish with sugar, cooking wine and soy sauce, add water (cover two-thirds of the fish).

9. Bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to low heat and add tomato sauce until the soup thickens

10. Cook over high heat until the sauce thickens and sprinkle with chopped coriander.
