1.1 Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes until the tapioca pearls are half cooked. Cover with lid and simmer for 10 minutes.

2.2 Add 600mL of water to the pot, bring to boil and then add tapioca pearls.

3.1 Pour out and rinse with cold water for later use.

4.2 After 10 minutes, the sago should be completely transparent.

5. Add 400mL of water to the pot again, add 100mL of coconut milk and 6 tablespoons of brown sugar and bring to a boil.

6. Add the drained tapioca pearls and bring to a boil.

7. The color of the cooked tapioca pearls will be lighter, so you can add 30mL of milk to adjust the color.
