12. Choose a ceramic pot or a stainless steel pot, add vegetable oil, and turn on low heat;

13. Add red bean paste and stir-fry over low heat until the oil fully penetrates the red bean paste;

14. Add brown sugar;

15. Continue to stir fry over low heat. This process takes a while, so be patient.

16. Fry until most of the water evaporates and the bean paste can be easily clumped together! Don't make it too dry (pressing with your hands will create a very smooth surface);
