How to make cold Chiba tofu

Tofu is a food rich in protein, and Chiba tofu also contains a lot of calcium. Therefore, eating tofu regularly is good for the healthy growth of the body. Tofu can be cooked in many ways, such as stir-frying, stewing, frying, or eating cold. Cold tofu is the most delicious way to eat it. Here is how to make cold Chiba tofu.

Ingredients: Tofu (appropriate amount), coriander (appropriate amount), green onions (2 pieces), sesame paste (appropriate amount), garlic (appropriate amount), steamed fish soy sauce (appropriate amount), vinegar (appropriate amount) and salt (appropriate amount)

1. Cut the tofu into 1 cm thick rectangular slices (I chose old tofu, which is not easy to break when mixing later, while soft tofu is too easy to break)

2. Bring the water to a boil, add the tofu and cook for 1-2 minutes.

3. Remove from the water and put into cold water, then remove and drain.

4. Heat the pan and add oil, put the tofu into the pan and fry both sides until golden brown. Be sure to fry it on low heat, otherwise it will easily get burnt.

5. Let cool after serving, then cut into 1 cm thick tofu strips for later use.

6. Wash and cut the coriander into small pieces for later use

7. Chop the onion and garlic and set aside

8. Add onion and garlic into the tofu, add some vinegar, steamed fish soy sauce, salt and sesame paste, and mix well.

First boil it in boiling water, take it out, drain the water and let it cool! If you eat it in the morning, add some minced ginger and tofu and mix them together. If you eat it at night, add some chopped chives. The seasoning depends on your taste. If you like spicy food, add chili sauce. If you don’t like spicy food, don’t add it. A little light soy sauce, a little aged vinegar, oyster sauce, sesame oil, etc. You can taste the flavor, if it’s not flavorful enough, add a little salt. If you want to eat meat, you can put whole cooked minced meat in it. It is best not to add onions. Scientists have found that eating onions and tofu together will destroy their nutrition, so tofu and onions are not suitable to be eaten together.

5. Fry both sides until golden brown and expanded, then remove from the pan.

6. Let cool slightly.

7. Cut the fried Chiba tofu into small strips about 1cm wide.

8. Place in a clean container.

9. Cut the onion into thin strips and the coriander into small pieces.

10. Put all together into the container containing Chiba tofu.

11. Add appropriate amount of sesame oil.

12. Add appropriate amount of light soy sauce.

13. Add appropriate amount of white sugar.

14. Add appropriate amount of black sesame seeds and mix well.
