How to make streaky pork

1. Wash the pork belly and cut it into small pieces of 1.5 cm square.

3. Add appropriate amount of oil to the pot, add onion, ginger, star anise and cinnamon, and stir-fry until fragrant. (Don’t use too much star anise or cinnamon, especially cinnamon. 4. Add the pork belly and stir-fry until the surface is slightly yellow.

5. Add 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of braised soy sauce and stir-fry until colored.

6. Add appropriate amount of hot water, cover with lid and bring to a boil.

7. Add potatoes and carrots, then add 2 small pieces of rock sugar.

8. Cover with lid and simmer over medium-low heat for half an hour.

9. After half an hour, add appropriate amount of salt, add black fungus and cook for about 5 minutes. Cook over high heat until the sauce is reduced to the amount you want to reserve.
