Honey Crispy Shrimp Recipe

1. After unfolding the shrimp back, chop it lightly with a knife to make it flatter.

2. Wash the green and red peppers, remove the seeds, and cut into 4cm long strips. Cut the scallion and ginger into strips of equal length. Cut half of the lime into thin slices and save the other half for later use.

3. Mix 25g of custard powder and corn starch evenly, and apply a thin layer of powder to the shrimp meat side, and do not apply powder to the shrimp skin side.

4. Pour oil into a small milk pan, about 2/3 of the pan, heat over high heat, when the oil is 60% hot, add the shrimps coated with starch, change to medium heat and fry for 2-3 minutes, drain the oil and remove from the pan when it turns golden brown

5. Pour 50ml of water and white vinegar into a pan, squeeze in the juice of half a lime, then add 5g of custard powder to 10ml of water, mix well and pour into the pan, stir slowly over medium-low heat until the soup becomes viscous

6. Immediately put the fried shrimps into the pot, add chili strips, green onion strips, ginger strips, lime slices, sugar and salt, and quickly shake the shrimps in the pot so that the soup covers the shrimps.
