How to make two-color sweet potato cakes

8.2 Put the red bean paste in a bowl, add walnut kernels, raisins and sesame seeds, mix well, and then divide it into equal portions to make the filling.

9. Take a piece of dough in your hand and roll it into a two-color dough.

10. Flatten the dough with your hands, put some red bean paste filling in it, slowly close the opening and wrap it into a ball shape.

11. Wrap all the dough and set aside (you can wrap one color or two colors, whichever you prefer).

12. Put water in a pot and bring it to a boil. Slowly flatten the dough with your hands, brush a little oil on the bottom, and then put it in the pot.

13. Cover the pot and steam for about five or six minutes (if you want to eat it directly after steaming for a healthier way, steam it for two minutes longer. In fact, in my personal opinion, the sweet potato cakes are cooked through in 6 minutes. The steaming time also depends on the size of the sweet potato cakes. Large ones can be steamed for a longer time, while small ones can be steamed for a shorter time).

14. Remove the lid of the steamed sweet potato cakes and let them cool slightly; put a small amount of oil in a frying pan, put the steamed sweet potato cakes in the pan and fry them slightly until both sides are golden brown.
