Fresh Pig Ears Recipe

Method 1: Stir-fried pig ears with green pepper

Materials

1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds, 1 hot pepper, 2 pig ears, 1 red pepper, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 piece of ginger, 2 cloves of garlic

1 star anise, 1/2 teaspoon Sichuan peppercorns, 1 piece of cinnamon, 1 bay leaf, 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

How to cook fried pig ears with green pepper

Prepare the spices for the braised pig ears: star anise, cinnamon, fennel, bay leaves, peppercorns, etc. Put the small spices into the seasoning steel ball

Put the cleaned pig ears into a pot with cold water, add seasoning steel balls, ginger slices, cooking wine, dark soy sauce and salt, bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to low heat and cook for 40 minutes.

Cut the braised pig ears into small strips, prepare the green and red pepper strips and crushed garlic cloves, heat a little vegetable oil in a pan, add the green and red pepper strips and garlic cloves and stir-fry

When the green pepper is slightly soft, add the pig ear strips, add some cooking wine, salt and pepper, stir-fry evenly, and serve on a plate.

Tips

1. Prepare the marinated aniseed, put it into the steel ball, put the pig ears into the pot with cold water, add ginger slices, dark soy sauce and cooking wine, bring to a boil over high heat and cook for 40 minutes;

2. It is best to soak the cooked pig ears for one or two hours so that they will be more flavorful;

3. Cut the pig ears into long strips, prepare some green and red pepper shreds and garlic cloves, stir-fry with oil, then add salt and other seasonings.

Method 2: Braised Pig Ears

Materials

2 pig ears, some light soy sauce, some dark soy sauce, some white sugar, some rice wine, some salt, a piece of cinnamon, two or three star anises, two scallions with green onions, a piece of old ginger, a few dried chilies, some dried hawthorn slices

How to make braised pig ears

Clean the ears, rinse them with boiling water, put them into the pot, add enough water, put all the ingredients in, cook without covering, skim off the floating residue when it boils, cover the pot and turn to the lowest heat!

Cook until you can poke the thickest part of the ear with chopsticks. It is done. No need to cook any more. Turn off the fire and simmer for ten to twenty minutes! If time allows, simmer it longer for better flavor.

After stewing, take it out with chopsticks and let it cool!

The braised pig ears can be boiled, stir-fried, or served cold. Today I made my favorite stir-fried pig ears, stir-fried with winter bamboo shoots, green peppers, garlic sprouts, and pig ears. It is highly recommended!
