How to make spicy marinated tofu slices

1. Raw material picture.

2. Fold the tofu slices diagonally and cut them evenly.

3. Open it as shown in the picture (cut it for easier flavoring).

5. Remove the boiled tofu slices.

6. Take another pot, add cinnamon, star anise, bay leaves, chopped dried red pepper, onion segments, shredded ginger, pour in appropriate amount of water, and bring to a boil over high heat.

7. After boiling, add cooking wine, light soy sauce, a small amount of dark soy sauce for color, and sugar and salt for seasoning.

8. Add the tofu slices, bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and cook for another 10 minutes. Turn off heat and let cool. After braising for half an hour, continue to boil over high heat, then turn off the heat and continue braising. (Boil - Let cool - Boil - Let cool for easier flavoring and coloring)
