How to make scallion pork buns

A healthy diet can prolong a person’s life. So, how can we use “eating” to prolong our life? You still have to achieve it by yourself. Now, I will introduce the method of making scallion pork buns.

1. Add half a spoonful of sugar and a pinch of salt to the flour, mix well, dissolve the yeast in warm water, pour it into the flour, and knead it into a smooth dough with warm water.

2. Cover and place in a warm place until the sugar doubles in size (sprinkle some flour on the dough, insert your finger into the dough, and if the dough feels soft and even, and the hole does not shrink, it is fermented)

3. Wash the green onions, remove the roots and leaves, and chop

4. Take all the scallion whites and half of the scallion leaves to make scallion oil: Heat the pan and pour in a proper amount of oil (about twice the amount for normal cooking)

5. When the oil is hot and smoke appears, quickly pour it on the scallion whites and leaves

6. After the scallion oil cools down, pour it into the pork filling.

7. Add two spoons of cooking wine

8. Two spoons of dark soy sauce

9. Half a spoon of sugar

10. Two spoons of beef powder, mix well

11. Add appropriate amount of water three times and beat the meat filling in one direction.

12. When you are about to make dumplings, add the remaining green onion leaves and mix well.

13. Sprinkle some flour around the fermented dough, take it out carefully, divide it into small pieces, and roll the small pieces into dough skins with thick middle and thin edges (the dough skin should not be too thin, otherwise the steamed buns will not look good, even though the skin is thin and the filling is large), put appropriate amount of filling in the dough skin 6. After the water in the steamer boils, put the buns on the steamer (leave some space between them), steam for 20 minutes after steaming, turn off the heat and simmer for 2 minutes

14. Pinch out the folds to close the top, wrap it and let it rise for 20 minutes.
