How to make Cantonese style steamed spareribs

Many friends are quite fond of the taste of Cantonese steamed spare ribs. This dish is very common in morning tea. The method of making Cantonese steamed spare ribs is actually quite simple, and you can make it by following the steps. Before cooking the ribs, the blood clots inside need to be removed so that the meat will be looser.

Ingredients: 230g spareribs

Accessories: 10 cloves of garlic, 2 teaspoons of salt, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of pepper and chicken essence, 10 grams of soy powder, 2 grams of fermented black beans

practice:

1. Rinse the ribs with water to remove some of the blood clots and make the meat looser.

2. Chop about 10 garlic cloves into small pieces and set aside

3. Put half of the chopped garlic into the blanched ribs and set aside

4. Fry the other half of the garlic in the pan until golden brown

5. Pour the fried garlic into the ribs, then add salt, chicken essence, sugar, pepper and bean powder and mix well.

6. After the ribs are arranged, steam them in a steamer. After the water boils, steam them over high heat for 35 minutes. You can put a few black beans on top, and finally add some green and red peppers for garnish.

Food tips:

1. Adding sugar can make the ribs crispy.

2. Adding rice wine can make the ribs easier to remove the bones and more convenient to eat. If rice wine is not available, you can use yellow wine instead.

3. Adding oil and starch can lock in the gravy and prevent it from being lost after steaming.

4. If your steamer lid drips water, it is best to wrap the ribs with a layer of tin foil to prevent too much water vapor from entering.
