How to make five-nut Cantonese mooncakes

How to make five-nut Cantonese mooncakes

Busy work makes many people lose interest in cooking for themselves, and they just eat out every day to fill their stomachs. However, the result of doing so is that their health is in a sub-healthy state and they become more prone to illness. The five-nut Cantonese mooncake is easy to make and can help improve the body's resistance and better maintain health.

1. Homemade invert sugar syrup.

2. Mix the invert sugar syrup, soap water and corn oil thoroughly. Finally, add the medium flour and stir until there are no particles, as shown below. Let rise for 2 to 3 hours. The dough is well-fermented as long as it is not extremely sticky. Tear off a small piece to check.

3. After the dough has risen, divide it into about 15 equal parts. Each portion is 20 grams per skin.

4. Take 30 grams of homemade five-nut filling. When wrapping, be sure to push the dough up slowly along the filling.

5. Take a piece of flower you like.

6. Be sure to put some hand flour on the surface of the dough, a thin layer.

7. This flower piece is ready. I made twice the recipe. Spray a little water on the surface of the mooncake, preheat the oven for about six minutes in advance, the temperature is 180 degrees, shape it, and bake it for about six minutes. Let cool slightly after baking and brush the surface with egg wash.

8. After brushing with egg liquid, preheat the oven in advance and bake at 180 degrees for about fifteen minutes. It’s out.

9. This is the second plate I made repeatedly, and I put my favorite flower petals on it.

10. Follow the steps above.

11. This is the second plate made with another flower piece. I was absent from the color test for two minutes. It’s a little late, so don’t be absent-minded when baking the mooncakes, and stay by the fire.

12. I like this chrysanthemum pattern. It’s pretty good!

13. Mooncakes freshly baked are very hard and need about 2 to 3 days to absorb the oil. Of course, the speed is different for ordinary mooncakes. The five-nut mooncakes need a little longer to absorb the oil.

14. After it cools down, cut one open and take a look. It is full of pine nut and cashew flavor. Wait for about 2 days for the oil to recover before you can eat it.

Cooking at home will make the whole house not seem lonely. The method of making five-nut Cantonese mooncakes is very simple. We might as well get started and enjoy the delicious taste.
