How to steam glutinous rice cake with glutinous rice flour

Usually we will find glutinous rice flour for sale on the market. Many people don’t know how to eat rice flour. In fact, glutinous rice flour can be used to make glutinous rice cakes. Glutinous rice cakes only need two raw materials, white sugar and a small amount of honey. Put them in the flour and stir constantly. Sweet glutinous rice cake

Ingredients: 300 grams of glutinous rice

Seasoning: 50g sugar, appropriate amount of honey

Method 1. Wash the glutinous rice, then pour in an appropriate amount of clean water and soak it for 5 hours until it can be crushed by hand.

2. Take out the glutinous rice, drain the water, and use a rolling pin to roll it into small pieces.

3. Clean the gauze, wrap the crushed glutinous rice, and put it into the steamer with water.

4. Move the steamer to the fire, steam over high heat and then switch to medium heat and steam for half an hour.

5. Turn off the heat, open the lid of the pot, lift the steamed glutinous rice, open the gauze, and sprinkle an appropriate amount of white sugar.

6. Wrap it with gauze and press with your hands to blend the sugar and glutinous rice together.

7. Roll up the gauze, wrap the glutinous rice tightly and roll it into long strips. After it cools down, you can cut it into small pieces and dip it in honey for consumption.

Double-color sesame glutinous rice cake

Ingredients: glutinous rice flour, dark chocolate, pure milk, white sugar (the amount is determined by personal discretion)

Method 1. Add pure milk to a part of glutinous rice flour and knead into white dough.

2. Add the melted dark chocolate sauce to a portion of the glutinous rice flour and knead it into a dark dough.

3. Find an iron lunch box as a mold, spread a layer of butter inside the iron box, first spread the dark dough on the bottom of the iron box, then spread the white dough, and press lightly to evenly spread it.

4. Sprinkle a layer of sesame seeds on the white dough and steam it in a pot of hot water for about half an hour.

5. After steaming, pour it out, cut into pieces, dip it in sugar and you can eat it.

Red Bean Paste Glutinous Rice Cake

Ingredients: 250g glutinous rice flour, red bean paste, soybean flour or corn flour

Method: 1. Mix glutinous rice flour with warm water and make it into a paste.

2. Use a large plate, cover the bottom with plastic wrap, and also leave some plastic wrap on the edge of the plate. Then pour in the glutinous rice paste and slightly move the plastic wrap closer to the center. Steam in a steamer for 15 minutes until cooked, turn off the heat and remove the lid after 5 minutes.

3. Put the cooked soybean powder (sold in large supermarkets) on the chopping board and spread it flat. Then pour out the glutinous rice cake. Use your hands to shape the glutinous rice cake into a round shape (dip some water on your hands to avoid getting your hands dirty). Put a layer of bean paste on the glutinous rice cake, and then roll it into a spring roll. Use a knife to cut it into pieces.
