1. Prepare the ingredients, eggs, dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, five-spice powder, onion, ginger, rock sugar, cinnamon, black tea, star anise, and salt

11. The finished braised iron eggs look black and much smaller. They are chewy and springy and very tasty. The more you chew them, the more delicious and memorable they become.
