How to make fried stuffed tofu box

Many people say that they can cook, but in fact they are just particularly good at making instant noodles. In order to avoid this embarrassment, let's learn together. First, let's learn how to fry stuffed tofu boxes. Take a look at it carefully.

1.1 Then put the meat in a frying pan and fry over medium-low heat until it turns deep golden brown;

2.2 Add 2 teaspoons of soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of pepper, 1 teaspoon of cooking wine, 1 tablespoon of corn starch and 1 tablespoon of water to the minced meat and mix well. Cut the tofu into cubes or rectangular blocks, about 5-6 cm long and wide. Use a knife, a scoop or a spoon to dig a square hole in each block, as shown in the picture, and stuff the minced meat in, trying to fill it up as much as possible.

3. Fry the tofu until it turns golden brown, and then fry the remaining three sides for a while. After frying, the tofu will feel a little tough, not easy to break, and the color will be better. Then put it on a plate with the meat side facing up and steam it in a large pot. Be careful that the sweat drips into the meat. Try to use a more round lid. A flat lid will easily let the sweat drip into the steamed food. If you are not sure, you can also put a film on the surface that can be used for steaming. Steam it over high heat for about 8-10 minutes to make the meat cooked through.

4. While the tofu is being steamed, you can use your hands to prepare the sauce. Put 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce (this oyster sauce is very salty, so no soy sauce or salt is needed), 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of corn starch, 1 teaspoon of cooking wine, and 1/2 teaspoon of sesame oil in a bowl and stir well. After the tofu is steamed, add the sauce to the pot and cook over high heat until big bubbles appear, and you can feel the "gas cap" feeling.

5. Pour the sauce on the tofu. You can also carefully put the tofu in the pot and roll it in the sauce to make it more flavorful. Serve. If you want to be more delicate, you can put a little chopped green onion, coriander or chopped carrot on the noodles. Doesn’t the chopped carrot look like crab roe? Although crab roe is good, it is not often available in the kitchen. It’s okay to try it if you don’t have it.

After reading the editor’s introduction today, I think housewives no longer need to try to cook according to recipes. With the steps I mentioned, you can definitely make a delicious fried stuffed tofu box for your family to enjoy!
