Homemade white flour meatballs

Meatballs are a very popular food and can be eaten in many ways. They can be eaten directly or used to make soup. There are many materials for making meatballs. You can directly use white flour to make white flour meatballs, or you can make fried pork meatballs, fried white radish vegetarian meatballs, fried beef meatballs, fried lotus root vegetarian meatballs, and fried traditional vegetarian meatballs. Different meatballs need to be made according to different steps. Below, I will introduce to you in detail how to make these meatballs!

1. How to make fried white flour meatballs

Ingredients: 1000g medium-gluten flour, 500g white radish, 6g five-spice powder, salt

Preparation method: Cut the white radish into shreds, mix the white radish, flour, salt and five-spice powder with hot water, let it rest for about ten minutes, increase the oil temperature by 70% to 80%, squeeze the dough into balls, put them in the oil pan, fry them until golden brown and then serve.

2. Fried pork meatballs

This is the most common meatball. The best pork filling is one that is 30% fat and 70% lean, which is fragrant but not greasy. Then add appropriate amounts of starch, eggs, scallion and ginger water, cooking wine, salt, and five-spice powder to the pork filling, stir it into filling, then squeeze it into meatballs with your hands (from the base between the thumb and index finger), put it in a pan with warm oil, and fry it over medium heat until golden brown.

3. Fried white radish meatballs

After washing the white radish, scrape it into thin shreds. Then put it in a bowl, add appropriate amount of salt, white flour, eggs, five-spice powder and other seasonings and mix well. Then use the same method as above to squeeze the meatball filling into the oil pan with your hands and fry it over low heat.

4. Fried beef meatballs

Beef meatballs are usually made smaller than pork meatballs so that they are easier to cook through when eaten in hot pot. Add starch, eggs, cooking wine, salt, scallion and ginger water (or scallion and ginger paste) to the beef filling and mix the ingredients evenly. Then fry them using the above method for frying pork meatballs.

5. Fried Lotus Root Vegetarian Meatballs

Wash the lotus root, peel it, cut it into small pieces, use a blender to blend it into lotus root puree, then put it into a bowl, add eggs, a small amount of starch, salt, onion and ginger water, and five-spice powder, mix it evenly, and fry it according to the above method of making vegetarian meatballs. It is ready to eat.

6. Fried Traditional Vegetarian Meatballs

The traditional method of making vegetarian meatballs in my hometown is to use a scraper to scrape the white radish shreds, rinse the bean sprouts, mung bean flour and white flour (1:3), scallion and ginger water, five-spice powder and salt, mix them evenly and fry them. The frying method is the same as the above vegetarian meatballs.
