How to make green roses

1. Prepare a fresh cucumber, remove the stem, peel the surface, and choose a medium to small cucumber.

3. Put the cucumber puree into a small strainer, drain some of the water, then press with a spoon or squeeze out excess water with gauze until the cucumber puree feels dry and set aside. Because cucumbers have a lot of water, if you don't squeeze out the excess water, the green tea liquid will not solidify easily.

4. Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water until soft and drain

5. While soaking the gelatin, brew green tea. I use Lipton instant green tea. You can also choose kimchi bags. After the green tea is brewed, mix the gelatin liquid into it and use the heat of the green tea to fully dissolve the gelatin.

6. Add sugar and mix well

7. Add the previously drained cucumber puree and mix well.

8. Pour into 3/5 of the cup and put it in the refrigerator until it solidifies.

9. When the green tea cucumber solution has solidified, start making the rose solution. Put the roses into boiling water and cook on low heat for 3 minutes before taking them out.

10. Take out the roses, squeeze the remaining juice into the bowl, and then filter out the impurities in the bowl to get a bowl of pure rose tea.

11. Mix gelatin powder and sugar, add 3 tablespoons of hot water, mix thoroughly, then pour into rose tea 3 times and stir, finally add rose wine, squeeze in a few drops of lemon juice, wait until it cools to room temperature, then take out the green tea jelly from the refrigerator, gently scoop rose tea onto the green tea jelly one spoonful at a time. Be gentle this winter, if you pour rose tea liquid directly into it, its impact may damage the green tea jelly, finally sprinkle some crushed rose petals, put it in the refrigerator and refrigerate until it solidifies before eating
