Orange mousse cake recipe

1. Prepare the ingredients. Soak the Jelly Pudding slices in cold water in advance.

2. Wash the orange peel and cut only the middle part into slices. Use the two sides to squeeze orange juice.

3. Put water and sugar in the pot and put the orange slices in. Cook the orange slices over medium heat and set aside. Leave the syrup in the pot for later use.

4. Take out the orange slices and drain the water for later use

5. Prepare the ingredients for yogurt chiffon cake in advance

6. Separate the eggs, beat the egg yolks, add oil and stir well, then add yogurt and mix well, add sifted low flour, stir well and set aside

7. Add tartar powder to egg whites, beat the fish balls and add sugar in batches until 90% of the mixture is done and has sharp corners.

8. Then stir evenly with the egg yolk paste to vibrate the bubbles, put it into the preheated oven, bake for 40 minutes, turn it upside down to dry, and then remove it from the mold for later use.

9. Start making the mousse. Add sugar to 4 egg yolks and beat with an electric whisk until white. Add the squeezed orange juice and mix well.

10. Heat the milk and add edible flavoring when bubbles appear. (optional)

11. Slowly add the milk into the egg yolk paste while it is hot, stirring evenly while adding. Return to the milk pot and cook over low heat until it becomes sticky. Remove from heat.

12. Immediately add the softened gelatin sheets and mix well.

13. Then sift it once to make the mousse more delicate

14. Beat the whipped cream until it is 50% fluid.

15. Take 1/3 of the whipped cream and add it to the sifted egg yolk paste and mix well.

16. Add the remaining whipped cream and mix well.

17. Place the boiled orange slices in a 6-inch removable bottom mold.

18. Cut the cake into two slices, cutting to the edge of 0.5 thick

19. Spread the remaining syrup on the cooked orange slices.

20. Pour the mousse paste and smooth the surface

21. Put the cake slice with syrup in step 19 on top of the mousse paste.

22. Add the remaining mousse paste, take a piece of cake, spread it with syrup and put it on the mousse paste. Press the cake slice gently with your hands and put it in the refrigerator parallel to the mousse for 4 hours.

23. When the time is up, take out the orange mousse cake from the refrigerator, wrap it with a hot towel for a while, then remove it from the mold and enjoy.

It’s nice to go out to a restaurant occasionally to change your taste, but it’s best not to go there too often. The orange mousse cake is simple to make, so it doesn’t matter if you’re not a good cook.
