How to make lotus root slices

1. Prepare the ingredients and peel and slice the lotus root.

2. Boil water in a pot, pour in the lotus root, and remove the lotus root immediately after boiling.

3. After rinsing with cold water twice, soak directly in clean water.

4. Take a small bowl, pour in two spoons of light soy sauce, one spoon of vinegar, one spoon of oyster sauce, one spoon of sugar, one teaspoon of salt, one teaspoon of chicken essence, and appropriate amount of starch and mix well.

5. Pour in 50 ml of water and stir evenly.

6. Put chili powder, sesame seeds and dried red pepper into a bowl and chop the garlic into minced garlic.

7. Pour appropriate amount of oil into the pan, heat it and pour it on the peppers.

8. Add the garlic to the pan with the oil on low heat and sauté until fragrant.

9. Then pour the prepared sauce into the pot and cook until it becomes thick.

10. Take out the lotus root slices and put them into another container, then pour the cooked sauce on the lotus root slices.

11. Pour in the squeezed chili oil.

12. Add a spoonful of sesame oil and mix evenly with your hands.

13. Sprinkle with chopped coriander and serve.
