How to make hazelnut oatmeal

1. Chop the hazelnuts and pre-toast them in the oven (175 degrees for about 4 minutes, until the aroma comes out), then set aside after cooling. Toast the sesame seeds as well (you can also fry them).

2. Mix the dry ingredients (oatmeal, flour, sesame seeds, chopped cranberries, hazelnuts) in a large bowl.

3. Put the butter into another bowl and heat it over water until it melts into liquid (or you can heat it in a microwave oven until it becomes liquid). Add brown sugar, granulated sugar and honey.

4. Use a whisk to stir the butter and sugar mixture until they are well combined.

5. Stir until the sugar is completely blended into the butter as shown in the picture.

6. Pour the dry ingredients prepared in step 2 into the butter mixture all at once.

7. Use a spatula to stir until they are evenly mixed.

8. Pour the mixture into an 8-inch square baking pan lined with tin foil (or pre-coat the inner wall of the baking pan with a layer of butter) and press tightly with the back of a spoon. Put it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees and bake for about 25 minutes. After taking it out of the oven and cooling, use a knife to cut the roasted hazelnut oatmeal into 16 pieces on the baking tray and then remove it from the mold.
