Tip: Before steaming, pour a proper amount of white wine on the live crabs to slightly marinate them for a better taste.

2. Tie the crab claws with a rope before steaming to prevent the claws from falling off and the crab roe and crab oil from leaking out during steaming. Tip: Wrap the whole crab with straw to keep it fresh and fragrant. Put an appropriate amount of water at the bottom of the pot and place the steamer on it and steam for 15-20 minutes. The lid should not be opened during the steaming process. The crab should be steamed thoroughly at one time, otherwise the taste of the crab will be affected.

3. After the water boils, steam for 13-16 minutes and then serve. It turns out very beautiful after steaming! Prepare garlic and ginger and chop them into fine pieces. Minced garlic and ginger. Fry in oil until slightly golden. Add soy sauce and continue stir-frying. Add aged vinegar and a small amount of salt, stir-fry quickly and remove from heat.

1. When steaming or boiling crabs, be sure to use cold water in the pot so that the crab legs will not fall off easily. Since crabs grow in mud, they often contain some toxins in their bodies. To prevent these pathogenic microorganisms from invading the human body, crabs must be steamed and cooked thoroughly before eating. Depending on the size of the crab, it is best to steam and cook for 8-10 minutes after the water boils, so that the meat is cooked but not overcooked.

2. It is best not to steam the crabs separately, as this will cause most of the freshness to be lost.

3. If you want to steam (or boil) a complete crab (with all ten legs intact), you can put the live crab in the freezer of the refrigerator, freeze it until it is stiff (note, not frozen hard), and then put it into boiling water and cook it directly.

What should you pay attention to when eating crabs

1. Before eating crabs, soak them in light salt water to make them spit out dirty water and impurities, and wash them clean before cooking.

2. Do not eat leftover crabs as the crab meat will spoil easily. It is best to steam it immediately before eating.

3. Dead crabs should not be eaten. Even if they are cooked, they are not good for health. The rigor mortis and autolysis periods of river crabs are greatly shortened after death. The bacteria in the crab's body will multiply rapidly and spread into the crab meat, causing vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea in the eater.

4. Crabs cannot be eaten with tea or persimmons.
