1. Xi'an spicy soup

One of the most classic breakfasts for Shaanxi people, it can be said to embody the essence of Shaanxi snacks. Hu La Tang can be divided into the real meatball Hu La Tang and the popular vermicelli Hu La Tang. In Xi'an, walking through the streets in the morning, you can smell the aroma of broth emanating from big pots everywhere, hear the chef selling Hu La Tang shouting in the distinctive Shaanxi dialect: "Hula Tang, hot buns", and watch the lines of soup pulled up by the wooden spoon. This is the style of Shaanxi people and the life of Xi'an people.

2: Hanzhong hot noodles

Hanzhong hot noodles are a delicacy made from ground rice noodles that are steamed, mixed with salt, chili, vinegar and other seasonings, and served with seasonal vegetables. Hanzhong hot noodles have a fresh, spicy taste and are chewy, suitable for all kinds of people.

3. Lanzhou Beef Noodles

Lanzhou beef noodles is a famous snack in Lanzhou and is well-known throughout the country. The five major steps in making Lanzhou beef noodles, whether it is selecting ingredients, kneading noodles, resting noodles, or rolling and pulling noodles, all cleverly utilize the physical properties of the ingredients, namely the extensibility and elasticity of gluten protein.

4. Wuhan hot dry noodles

Hot dry noodles are known as one of the five famous noodles in China, along with Shanxi knife-cut noodles, Guangdong and Guangxi Yifu noodles, Sichuan Dandan noodles, and northern fried soybean paste noodles. They are a distinctive breakfast snack. Hot dry noodles is one of the most famous foods in Wuhan and an integral part of the lives of Wuhan people. The noodles are thin and chewy, yellow and oily in color, and delicious. It is even more distinctive when mixed with sesame oil, sesame paste, dried shrimps, spiced pickles and other ingredients. Hot-dried noodles were originally a snack in Wuhan. As it is close to Xinyang, it was introduced to Xinyang and became the favorite of Xinyang people, hence the name Xinyang hot-dried noodles.

5. Beijing fried dough sticks and bean juice

Fried dough sticks are one of my country's traditional popular foods. They are not only cheap, but also crispy and delicious, suitable for people of all ages. Youtiao has a very long history. In ancient my country, fried dough sticks were called "Hanju". In a poem about cold food, Tang Dynasty poet Liu Yuxi described the shape and production process of fried dough sticks as follows: "Slender hands rub them into jade-like pieces, and green oil fries them into a tender yellow. At night, I sleep lightly in spring, and the beauty wraps her arms around my gold arm." This poem describes fried dough sticks so vividly! Fried dough sticks are the most common snack in Beijing and are usually eaten for breakfast.

6. Shanghai glutinous rice balls

Glutinous rice balls are the traditional breakfast of old Shanghainese. These special traditional breakfasts can be seen on some street stalls in Ningbo and Shanghai. Roll the glutinous rice into a thin pancake, put some pickled mustard on it, sandwich a fried dough stick, and roll it into a ball. Just like that, the authentic Shanghai glutinous rice ball is ready.

7: Shandong Pancake

Shandong pancakes originated from Mount Tai. They are very thin and made from cereals. They are a popular dish for the common people - they are rolled with green onions, vegetables, meat or delicacies from the land and the sea and can be eaten with relish. Pu Songling specially created "Ode to Pancakes" for it, which shows how deep his feelings for pancakes were. Among the current Tai'an pancakes, taking Yuzhen pancake as an example, its origin can be traced back to the Song Dynasty. In Xintai City, Shandong Province, there is a very famous pancake town called Loude Town, which is known as the "No. 1 Pancake Town in China". Every household here knows how to make Shandong pancakes, which is a legend.

8: Ningbo Glutinous Rice Balls

Tangyuan is one of Ningbo's famous snacks and also one of my country's representative snacks with a very long history. It is said that glutinous rice balls originated in the Song Dynasty. At that time, a new type of food was popular in various places. It was made by using various fruit baits as fillings and rolling them into balls with glutinous rice flour. After being cooked, it tasted sweet and delicious and was very interesting. Because this kind of glutinous rice ball floats and sinks when cooked in the pot, it was originally called "Floating Yuanzi". Later, some areas changed "Floating Yuanzi" to Yuanxiao. Different from people in the north, Ningbo people have the traditional custom of sitting together as a family and eating glutinous rice balls on the morning of the Spring Festival.

9. Changsha Rice Noodles

Changsha rice noodles are not as famous as Guilin rice noodles, but they have their own characteristics and are one of the favorite foods of Changsha citizens. Changsha people like to eat rice noodles. Rice noodles are divided into two types: round noodles and flat noodles. Most Changsha citizens prefer flat noodles because the advantage of flat noodles over round noodles is that they are easier to absorb flavor. You should know that rice noodles themselves have no flavor and rely entirely on soup for flavoring.

10: Chongqing hot and sour rice noodles

"Chongqing Hot and Sour Rice Noodles" is a famous traditional snack widely spread in urban and rural areas of Chongqing. The main rice noodles are made of sweet potatoes, red potatoes and peas blended in the best proportions, and then made by farmers using traditional hand-made methods.
